Welcome to the official page for the “Tackling Social Issues through Entrepreneurship” project. Running from June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2026, this international initiative successfully empowered youth workers by equipping them with the vital skills, resources, and opportunities needed to become proactive changemakers in their communities.
In a rapidly changing European landscape, we recognized the need to encourage innovative solutions to modern social challenges. This training course was specifically designed to leverage creative approaches and entrepreneurial thinking to address complex issues, focusing on providing individuals in underprivileged communities with the tools to improve their livelihoods.
Our European Partnership
This ambitious initiative was brought to life through the robust collaboration of eight dedicated organizations from across Europe. By pooling our diverse experiences and national practices, we established a powerful network focused on youth empowerment:

Main Activities & Methodologies
The project successfully engaged a total of 32 youth workers, which included 8 participants with fewer opportunities, alongside 2 experienced trainers. The program was rooted in non-formal education, experiential learning, and active peer-to-peer exchange.
To bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, the project featured a dynamic array of activities:
- Exploring Equality: Participants engaged in the “Sharing Equal Working Rights Experiences” workshop and a targeted lesson titled “Equality at Work: Unpacking Implicit Bias” to understand the negative impacts of workplace discrimination.
- Interactive Methodologies: Utilizing the World Café method, the group tackled “Migrant and Refugee Entrepreneurship: Bridging Cultures, Creating Businesses”.
- Creative Problem Solving: Through “Interactive Theater: Breaking Stereotypes in the Workplace,” youth workers navigated five specific discrimination scenarios to develop solutions for inclusive environments.
- Expert Engagement: The training included an online Zoom session where two experienced entrepreneurs provided practical advice on business creation and youth activism.
- Practical Field Work: Participants engaged in a hands-on visit to a start-up organization, gaining first-hand experience in business development and participating in a panel discussion with social entrepreneurship experts.
- Sustainable Practices: Throughout the training course, the project heavily promoted eco-friendly habits, such as relying on public transportation, recycling paper materials, and strictly limiting the use of single-use plastic bottles.
Project Impact & Results
The ripple effects of this training course have been felt at the local, regional, national, and European levels.
Impact on Youth Workers Participants significantly improved their digital, communication, and organizational skills. They gained practical competencies in guiding young people through the employment process, specifically mastering techniques for CV creation, motivation letter writing, and job interview preparation. More importantly, they developed a deeper sense of empathy and a comprehensive understanding of the barriers faced by marginalized groups, including asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants. All participants received formal recognition of their acquired competencies through Youthpass certificates.
Impact on Organizations & Target Groups Participating organizations drastically strengthened their capacity to operate at an international level. By integrating new non-formal education tools and sharing national best practices, the organizations are now better equipped to support equal access to the labor market. Ultimately, the primary beneficiaries are the marginalized youth in our local communities, who are now receiving enhanced mentoring, more inclusive youth work, and improved access to entrepreneurial education.
Follow-Up & Future Plans
The trust and communication established during this project have laid a permanent foundation for long-term international cooperation. Our partnership network is already looking forward. We are committed to co-developing new Erasmus+ strategic projects (under KA1 and KA2 actions) that will continue to address social entrepreneurship, the inclusion of refugees and migrants, and advanced capacity building for youth workers. We will also maintain our collaborative momentum by hosting joint online campaigns, webinars, and awareness-raising events.
